How to Sew Your Own Pikachu Dress
To make it easy for you to sew your own dress, I’ve already created the 4 sewing video tutorials listed below. Start at part 1 and follow along as we sew a Pokemon dress together, or with whatever fun novelty fabric you’ve chosen. Keep in mind before you start sewing that anytime you’re working with cotton, it’s best to wash and shrink your fabric before cutting. This will keep the size or your garment accurate after it’s worn and has been clean. Cotton can shrink a decent amount, so do make sure to take the time to do this. The only thing I won’t cover here is how to cut out a dress pattern, but there are several videos on YouTube if you need further instruction with cutting. Below we will start with step 1 in the Butterick sewing instructions, following through till the end. I will also include each video transcript link, in case you need to read through any of them for more details.
